I found a way that you can make a few hundred
up to $1,000 per day on autopilot.
And this is coming straight from a former employee of Shopify
who disclosed on Quora that by selling Shopify themes or templates,
you can earn a few hundred thousand dollars per year or even more
if you have one of the most sold and sought after themes.
So in this video, I'm going to share with you everything you need to know.
Okay, so let's do the math together.
Let's say that you sell ten
templates per week and that each template costs $200.
Well, that means that every week you would be making $2,000,
and that means that per month you can make 8000 or more.
And that means that in a year you already make about 100 people.
And this is only with ten sales per week.
Imagine if you have multiple templates, multiple themes
selling in multiple stores or marketplaces.
This opportunity is crazy.
And if you don't know what Shopify is, well, it is an online
retail platform where anybody can start their own online shop.
So how can you get in on this opportunity right now?
Well, before you start any business, you want to make sure that it is
a good moneymaking opportunity.
Because after all, if you look at the message, it is a little bit old.
So if we take a look at these stats that were published
by the Internet company built with, you will see that Shopify
has seen incredible growth over the last few years.
There are currently over 4 million online stores that are hosted on Shopify
has increased its number of stores by over
200% between March 2020 and January 2022.
So what that tells us is that not only there are millions of online shops
being started on Shopify yearly, but also that it is a great opportunity
for us to look into.
You also want to check out Google Trends because it's a great indicator
to see if something is only a hype, a trend, or a long time
viable business opportunity for Shopify themes or templates.
That is definitely a goal.
So now it's clear
you definitely want to go into designing Shopify store themes or templates,
but what do you do if you don't know how well I've got you covered?
Here's a free resource directly from Shopify, where they teach you in less
than 2 hours how to do that step by step, even if you have no experience.
The link is down below. You can thank me later.
Okay.
So next you need to decide what kind of template or theme you want to design.
What kind of stores do you want to target?
First, you want to go to Shopify themes and take a look
at all the industries or categories that they cater to.
So let's do that together.
So when you go to themes such Shopify dot com forward slash industries,
you will see all the categories or industries
that people tend to open online stores in.
And you have arts and crafts, business equipment and supplies,
electronics, food and drink, hardware and automotive, health and beauty,
home and décor, jewelry, pet supplies, sports or toys and games.
And my recommendation is that you take a good look at this list
and then you pick whatever seems most interesting to you,
which is the area where you will feel most great.
Once you've chosen a couple categories,
the next thing that I recommend you do is to go to echo dot
com and do a little bit of research on your competition.
So let's do that together.
So when you come to Etsy.com,
I recommend that you go ahead in the search bar and type Shopify theme,
and then you're going to do a separate search where you type Shopify theme
and then the industry or the category that you've picked, let's say jewelry,
the next thing you want to do is go to filters and where is this price?
You want to go to custom and select the ones that are between 100 and $200.
This is because these are, let's say, the price ranges that you want to set
and then you want to go and source
not by relevancy but sort by top customer reviews.
And what you have here is literally the short list of your direct competitors.
So now my recommendation is that you take a good look at what they have to offer,
because that definitely shows that there is a market for whatever they have.
And I want you to look at their esthetics.
I want you to look at the sequence and the customer journey that they offer.
But not only that and the way they present their product
at the screenshot shots that they have at the description of the product,
because this will come in handy when you work on your listing.
So take a look at your competition.
I am not saying, by the way, that you should copy anything.
Please don't do that.
That is probably the worst thing you can do.
The reason
why I'm recommending you do this is because understanding your competitor
and knowing what sells is going to position you
in a place of true advantage.
You will know exactly what customers are looking to buy, so you can offer that.
But better now you need to get to work
and you're in luck because Shopify offers you a ton of resources
that are going to help you in your design journey and they are for free.
The link will be down below.
Once you have your design ready.
Now all you need to do is uploaded for sale.
And you can do that in many places.
But I recommend at least one, if not both of these ones.
Etsy and Shopify own marketplace for themes and templates.
So let's take a look at Etsy and how you're going to do that.
So back to Etsy.com, you will need to sign in, otherwise
you will not be able to see this icon that shows the link to your store.
Once you sign in or sign up and create an account,
you'll be able to click on this and it'll take you to
your own shop manager and it takes you automatically to the dashboard.
But what you can do is obviously go and click on listings.
Why did you come to listings?
You have here at the top, add a listing.
So obviously you click on it and it takes you to create a new listing.
In terms of uploading photos, you do want to upload
very, very good quality screenshots of your store
front of all the designs that you've been working on
and since you've taken a look at your competitors, you will know exactly
what kind of views you need to introduce
and also share with potential customers.
Another big idea is for you to create a video and show through your shop design.
This is definitely going to really increase your conversion rate
and have you see much more sales every single day.
And now you've come to the listing details, you can write the title,
all the details about your listing, the category that your listing is part of.
So obviously you will right here, Shopify themes or Shopify templates
in terms of renewal options.
The listing will renew as it expires for $0.20 each time, and you can either go
for automatic or manual and here you need to go for digital.
And then in the description I suggest again you go ahead
and take a look at your main competitors.
I'm not saying that you should copy again, this is very important,
but go and take a look at how they present their product
and see what kind of information do they offer,
what kind of keywords do they use, and then take all of that knowledge
and use it to describe as best as you possibly can, your own product.
Once you're done with that, go ahead and add your tags,
the number of items and the price you want to go for.
And since you've done your research,
you already know that the price is going to be between 100 and $200.
And you can choose whatever makes you feel most satisfied
with the price that you will be getting.
You don't have to go for 199, but you also don't have to go for a 100.
Pick something in between based on the other prices
that you're seeing in the market that you've selected.
Once you've done all of that, you just go ahead and click on publish.
Congratulations.
You now have your first listing up.
The next thing that I do recommend you consider doing is, as I said,
not only stick to actually, but upload your template or your theme
onto other marketplaces.
And Shopify have one.
They do need to approve your listing, so you might need to wait a little while
for them to do that.
But it's definitely better for you to have your listing in multiple places.
Graphic River is another great place for you to consider where you can upload
your templates and start making money as well.
Now the last thing that I do recommend
you do is look into optimizing your listings.
And Etsy, for example, has a lot of free resources
that you can consider to learn more about SDL
Search Engine optimization, specifically for Etsy.
So again, I'm going to link down below some resources that Etsy make available
for free that you can go ahead and check out, but also you can go to YouTube
and check out a lot of free resources that exist already here on the platform
or go to Udemy.
There are many, many places where you can go and learn more about Etsy's SEO
and perfect your listing so that you make sure you get boosted
and the algorithm supports your listing and gets it in front
of as many possible customers as you can get.
So you make as many sales as you can.
All right, you guys, that was before today.
